Winter Springs, Fla., (February 18, 2025) - Ten years ago, Matt and Erica Rose were on their back patio discussing their future. The young family had a desire for more than just a job, they wanted to create their own path through entrepreneurship.

The pair had spent more than a decade working for some of the top names in business, like BBDO and Raytheon, with Matt focusing on IT and Erica focusing on marketing.

Together, they believed they could build a business.

"We didn't realize what that truly meant when we launched this company after that conversation, but we knew we wanted something of our own and nothing was going to stop us," says Erica Martinez-Rose, the company's CEO. "It's been an incredible journey for us and we are excited for what our future holds."

Ten years later, the company is earning more than $1 million in revenues and employs nearly a dozen people in the Central Florida area, mostly out of its Winter Springs base. It's been named one of the top companies in Florida to watch and is one of the top 250 companies nationally in its field.

The company offers IT consulting to a wide range of small- and medium-sized businesses, priding itself on utilizing the latest technology with a significant level of customer service.

"Over the past ten years, we've found a great niche in a crowded marketplace where we can make a difference in our clients' businesses," says Matt Rose, who serves as the company's Chief Experience Officer. "We've learned a lot, but in each step of the process, our company has improved and become an even better resource and partner in providing managed IT services."

One of the key steps along the way was to join the UCF Business Incubation Program. During their time at the Winter Springs Incubator, they worked on their business model, utilized the public relations efforts from the Incubation Program and even rebranded their company from Intersection Technology Solutions to Tech Rage IT.

"What Erica and Matt have done with their company is truly impressive, but it shows how entrepreneurs can utilize business coaching, like what we provide, to grow their business in ways they often didn't imagine," says Rafael Caamano, site manager of the UCF Business Incubator in Winter Springs. "It's been an honor to watch their journey and growth over the past decade."

• Grew 58 percent despite COVID

2021

• Featured as a Small Business Success Story by the Florida Small Business Development Centers
• Named Business of the Year, Employees 6-10, at Seminole Business Awards from the Seminole County Chamber
• Matt releases his first book, Kiss Tech Rage Goodbye

2022
