Sales Development Representative

LOCATION: In Office
COMPENSATION: $19.23/hour (equivalent to $40,000 annually) with the potential to achieve $75,000+ in annual earnings through performance-based bonuses and promotional incentives

General Summary:

The Sales Development Representative will prospect for new leads, qualify leads from marketing campaigns, set up appointments and grow the pipeline for the Sales Team. Through a multi-channel, outbound approach, you'll work tactically to reach decision-makers, articulate the value proposition and assess buying interest with targeted, prime prospects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in Tech Rage IT solutions within your first two weeks, preparing to confidently initiate outbound calls.
  • Utilize phone calls to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Use provided scripts to guide conversations, ensuring consistency and professionalism in every interaction.
  • Expect to make 100+ dials per day. Consistency is key to your success in this role.
  • Schedule at least 1-2 high-quality appointments per week which sit with decision makers.
  • Regularly scrub our database to remove incorrect, redundant, or outdated information.
  • Be responsible for hitting established metrics, with clear expectations on performance.
  • Efficiently assess inbound leads to determine their potential, ensuring only the most promising leads are passed on to the next stage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all sales activities in our CRM, including calls, follow-ups, and lead qualification.
  • Handle high-level objections and accurately qualify leads to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our IT solutions and industry trends.
  • Participate in required sales training and coaching to continually refine your skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to make outbound phone calls.
  • Proficient use of computers, including working on multiple applications and web browsers simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter individual with a desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and time-management skills.

Preferred But Not Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in Business-to-Business cold calling, inside sales or telemarketing
  • Market knowledge of the Central Florida area
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
  • Knowledge or experience in selling Information Technology solutions

Employment Requirements:

  • Being on time every day and good attendance
  • 1+ years' customer service, retail, hospitality, or related experience combined
  • Subject to a criminal background check
  • Ability to schedule reference calls with previous managers prior to an offer
  • Monday-Friday during 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Ability to work out of our Winter Springs office
  • Successfully pass pre-employment verification check

Pay: Hourly Base + performance-based bonuses and promotional incentives. Actual earnings may vary based on performance.
